Similar Realities
There are a number of realities throughout various Multiverses that have very similar elements to Earth 789:
- Donnerverse: A reality in the Arrowverse Multiverse which is the setting of Richard Donner's Superman movie and its sequels.[1][2]
- Burtonverse: A reality in the Multiverse which is the setting of Tim Burton's Batman films.
- Arrowverse: Earth-89: A reality in the Arrowverse Multiverse which is the setting of the movies, Batman, Batman Returns and their comic sequels. The designation, "Earth-89", is derived from 1989, the release year of Batman. It was destroyed during the Anti-Monitor Crisis and later got restored with the rest of the Multiverse.[3]
- Arrowverse: Earth-96: A reality in the Arrowverse Multiverse which is the setting of the movie, Superman Returns. In the Pre-Crisis continuity, Superman "went nuts and fought [himself]", much like in Superman III, before having a son, Jason, and becoming editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet after the Joker killed most of the staff with laughing gas.[4] Like on Earth-789, versions of the events of Superman and Superman II also happened on this reality.
- Arrowverse: Earth-97: A reality in the Arrowverse Multiverse in which the events of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin occurred. In this world, Batman is joined by Robin and Batgirl on his adventures fighting crime in Gotham City.[5][6]
- DC Extended Universe: Flashpoint: A divergent timeline of the DC Extended Universe created when the Flash traveled back in time to prevent his mother's murder. This reality had very few metahumans, a violent invasion by General Zod, and an older, retired Batman, who had gone through the events of Batman and Batman Returns. This world was erased from existence when the Flash went back in time again and undid his alterations to the timeline.[2]

Notes
- Earth 789 is an amalgam of the Donnerverse and the Burtonverse. Its numerical designation is a portmanteau of the years the first movie in each franchise debuted; 1978 (Superman), and 1989 (Batman).
- This reality was first glimpsed by Miguel Montez in Dial H for Hero #12 which implies that it already existed before the rebirth of the Multiverse.
