Earthquake was an enemy of Superman who could move the earth.
History
Earthquake first appeared during Lex Luthor's inauguration as president where he tried to kill Luthor for his crimes against Suicide Slum and the world, only to be stopped by the combined efforts of Superman, Steel, Star-Spangled Kid and S.T.R.I.P.E..
Earthquake later tried to steal the Entropy Aegis from the Steelworks where he battled and defeated Steel, forcing Steel to use the Apokoliptian armor which took control of the hero and almost killed Earthquake, who survived the encounter thanks to the lucky intervention of Superman.
After joining the forces of Overmind Earthquake clashed against Superman and Steel once again for the control of the Aegis which was the key to the control over the B13 tech, but as soon as he had them on the ropes and was ordered to kill them he destroyed the machine that was suppressing Superman's powers and left without explanation, reminding the heroes that of all the enemies they had faced he was the one who managed to beat the protectors of Metropolis.
It is later revealed that Earthquake was secretly working for Talia al Ghul and was sent to sabotage both Overmind and Lexcorp operations.
