Echidna, known as the Mother of Monsters, is an enemy of Wonder Woman.
History
Echidna captured Queen Hippolyta and several Amazons until Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor traveled to Doom's Doorway and confronted the female serpent. Wonder Woman was able to convince Echidna to cease her terrorism after relating her love of her daughter, the Hydragonne to the love for her own mother.[1]
Some time later, Echidna fought Damage and Congo Bill over Monster Rock. When the pair were able to overcome her hoards of monstrous children, Echidna teleported away to safety, declaring that they had made an enemy of her.[2]
