Edward Ruskin was a nineteenth century man who desired immortality.

He found a spell that would grant him his desire, and sacrificed his wife as a result. She was killed and buried in Glencourt Manor, as a result her spirit was bound to Edward and the manor. Throughout the century he would return to the manor various times. During which time he would invent a new identity for himself and cast new binding spells on Adelia's spirit. After which he would start his new life and travel the world One day he began a relationship with a woman named Berenice, and took her to the manor. He attempted to cast a new binding spell on Adelia, though it did not work. Eventually he came into conflict with Deadman, Berenice and her friend Sam as they began to unravel the truth. He attacked Sam, but was possessed by Deadman, who revealed his secret. Berenice burned down the manor. Edward was unable to leave the manor and died as a result.[1]

  • Near Immortality: Edward's life was tied to Glencourt Manor. As long as the manor was intact, he could not die.

  • Power Instability: His wife's spirit was tied to him. Her emotional distress would plague him with severe headaches.
