Edwin Paine and Charles Rowland are the Dead Boy Detectives, two young ghosts from England that solve supernatural crimes.
History
In 1914, some bullies killed Edwin in St. Hilarion's School for Boys while trying to raise "Devils". They later hid his bones in the attic, and no one ever found out. So Edwin's spirit went to an eternal nightmare, where had just corridors. He was hurrying down the corridors because he knew he was late for something, but he didn't remember what. Then he realized that there was something behind him, but it was always one or two bends of the corridor behind, and even though it wasn't making any nose, he knew it was always there. So he started to run it would get him, just walking as fast he could.
On December 1990, Edwin's spirit returned to the Waking World, and watched the bullies torturing Charles Rowland to death, later coming to his aid. When Death came to take Charles to the Afterlife, he chose to stay on Earth with Edwin as ghosts. They later formed the Dead Boy Detective agency and befriended Crystal Palace.[1]
