Egg Fu was an enemy of Wonder Woman.
History
A Communist government created Egg Fu on Oolong Island in the South China Sea. From this base, the supercomputer launched attacks against nearby United States Navy ships and planes.
Steve Trevor was sent to investigate the disappearance of recon flights near Oolong and was promptly captured. Using super-science, Egg Fu used radiation to turn Trevor into a living bomb to use against the Pacific fleet. Wonder Woman stopped the bomb by flying into him, and Amazon science restored them both to life. They now both had the explosive power. Egg Fu captured them again and shot them into space, which returned them both to normal.
Egg Fu was about to launch another attack on the navy when Wonder Woman returned. She ensnared him with her Lasso of Truth and when he refused to submit, he exploded.
Notes
- This version of Egg Fu, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
- Early comic books may depict some ethnic and racial prejudices that were once commonplace in American society. Such depictions were wrong then and are wrong today. While not representing the DC Comics view of today's society, these stories are being indexed and summarized as they were originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.
