El Kebir, on the Kardaya Plain in North Africa, was the site of a battle between a gang of wild-animal-enslaving caravan raiders and the Blackhawk Squadron.
History
Until 1948, the remote and little known city of El Kebir was an autocracy, ruled by a Kadi. In that year, an outlaw and his pack of electronically controlled tigers and lions were murderously plundering the caravans trying to cross the desert around El Kebir, in Kardaya, North Africa. The Blackhawk Squadron, in cahoots with their sometime-ally Fear, put a stop to this. The boss of the raiders turned out to be Abd al Gebr, the Kadi of El Kebir, who was then killed by a mob of his own betrayed citizens.
