Elizabeth Blake (Earth-One)

Betty was a crush of Clark Kent's (before Lana Lang entered his life). However, Betty herself had her eyes on classmate and jock Joe Daly. She did accept going to a dance with Clark, when Joe became ill. In the end, she ended up going to the dance with Superboy, because Clark "had a fever".^[1] Betty returned to being interested in Joe Daly, while turning down Clark Kent. She later changed her mind, as Clark was smarter than Joe Daly.^[2]
