Ellec Inaego was Lucia Hyde's ex-husband and the father of Delilah Inaego.
History
Ellec was a member of Clan Inaego, a respected Xebelian warrior clan, and served with distinction in the Xebelian guard. At some point he married Lucia, daughter of Lokua, and they had a daughter named Delilah.
Despite his reputation as a warrior, Ellec was dissastified with Xebel's militaristic society. Unlike other dissidents who fled the city for Atlantis or the surface, Ellec tried to change Xebel from within and formed a peaceful movement to protest the forced conscription of children into the Guard. The movement had little success and were often met with violence by the authorities, so a splinter faction lead by Lucia turned to terrorism. The terrorists eventually managed to force the military to end conscription, but cost the movement any public support or legitimacy they may have had. A few months later, the Guard reintroduced conscription and Lucia left her family and Xebel, believing change was impossible.
Ellec remarried Meeka, unaware that she was responsible for many of the murders attributed to Lucia, and died when Delilah was a child. He was buried with honours in his family graveyard, suggesting his affiliation with the anti-military movement was either unknown or pardoned. Lucia attended his funeral in disguise and did not approach Delilah, who was distraught at her father's death.
