Ellen Carter was the mother of Booster Gold.
History
She was a victim of domestic violence was often put in the hospital by her husband. She was heartbroken when Michael left to the 21st Century and was labeled a criminal. One day, Michael returned home with a guest: Superman, who told Mrs. Carter of Booster's heroic exploits. Michael had to return to the past, but Ellen was able to rest easy knowing her son was a hero instead of a villain.[1]
Notes
- Ellen Carter was created by Dan Jurgens, first appearing in Booster Gold (Volume 2) #17. However, in the rebooted Prime Earth continuity her first appearance as part of the DC Universe is in Jurgens and Brett Booth's New 52 Action Comics series.
