Elmond is a small rural suburb of Washington, D.C.
History
During World War II, the town's work force developed substantially giving rise to an affluent residential and service community. The town is noted for being the birthplace of the sibling super-heroes, Hawk and Dove.
The general population is about 20,000, with 13,000 more attending the University.[1]

- In Silver Age continuity, Elmond was located somewhere in the Midwestern United States.[citation needed] The Brave and the Bold #181 placed it in Oregon.
