Elongated Maniac was a mass murderer who wanted to make a name for himself and used the identity of Elongated Man, one of Flash's greatest allies.

History

He broke into a bank, but instead of robbing it, murdered everyone inside the bank brutally. Meanwhile, police officers surrounded the building, unaware that the hostages were all already dead. One of the officers, Henry, got tired of waiting and walked into the building where he witnessed the murders Elongated Maniac had committed. He then revealed that this was all to make a name of himself and that he surrendered to be taken to jail. However, angered by what had just happened, Henry grabbed his gun and shot the psychopath. This led to him getting discharged for shooting an unarmed man.
