Synopsis for "Book One"
In the spring of 1928, Clark Kent learned that the League of Assassins had kidnapped Lana Lang's father and flew with her and Jimmy Olsen to Paris, where they met Bruce Wayne and convinced him to join their quest in saving Professor Lang after telling him about the Argos codex, although Selina Kyle overheard them and notified Alexi Luthor.
Bruce, Clark, Lana, and Jimmy went to Egypt, where Dr. Carter Hall. Clark had a dream of himself wearing a cape and a suit and chasing a woman before he woke up and joined Bruce and Lana in rescuing the professor, while the League were in the process of resurrecting Ra's al Ghul before the leader revealed his plan to use the Godstone to destroy the world and create a new one. Ra's al Ghul insisted that Clark marry his daughter Talia before Bruce took her as his prisoner and attempted to flee, although he was injured and wandered into a cave, where he collapsed in front of a statue of the wizard Kha.
Clark, Jimmy, and the Langs had also escaped, but their steamer was attacked by Alexi Luthor.
