Professional History

In the late 1930s, Emanuel Demby ran a small comics workshop in New York City, packaging features for publishers Lev Gleason, Fox, and Quality Comics. He wrote some of the scripts, and was among the first to employ Joe Kubert, Dave Berg, Joe Gallagher, Ted Udall, and other famous future comics professionals.
