This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Legion of Super-Heroes and is an adaptation of Emerald Empress. The original character was created by Jim Shooter and Curt Swan and first appeared in Adventure Comics #352.
Emerald Empress was voiced by Jennifer Hale through the episode "Sundowns, Part II" and Tara Strong for the later episode "The Man from the Edge of Tomorrow, Part II".
