Emma Abar is the youngest adopted daughter of Angela and Cal Abar.
History
Emma, Rosie, and Topher grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their father Doyle was an officer with the police department, having been the partner of Angela Abar.
On Christmas Eve, 2016, Emma's parents were victims of what would be known as the "White Night", when members of a white supremacist group known as the Seventh Kavalry organized to assassinate all the members of Tulsa's police force. Though all the children would have been killed, Topher protected his sisters in a closet while their parents were murdered and survived the night.
Angela, having survived the night due to an impulsive reaction from her husband against their attackers, offered to adopt the children. The three were taken in, and their last names were changed to Abar.
