History
Unable to capture Big Barda, Apokolips Tactical Unit makes use of the weapon to rob her of her energy and strength,then use her as bait to lure Scott Free into a trap.
Capabilities
The Energy Disperser is able to disperse all kinds of energy,including super powers. After being hit by the beams of the weapon, Barda had her powers and part of her life force extracted from her body.
