The Eradicator template is a copy of the Eradicator's original program, stored on a crystal in the Fortress of Solitude.
History
Superman activated the Eradicator to find the Cyborg Superman. As this version of the Eradicator had not had the same encounters with the Superman Family as its predecessor, it considered Superman a "pure" Kryptonian and so was totally obedient to him.
Superman ordered him to track Henshaw's body, which was comprised of cloned Kryptonian flesh grafted onto cybernetics. The Eradicator considered this an "abomination" and quickly tracked Henshaw to an abandoned airport in Metropolis.[1] When the Superman Family confronted the Cyborg Superman, he cut the Eradicator's connection to the Fortress, causing his hologram to disappear. Before he vanished he was able to tell Superboy to use his tactile telekinesis to disrupt the electrical signals which Henshaw was using to control his many drone bodies.[2]
The Eradicator continued to work with the Superman Family to atone for his predecessor's actions.[3]
