Erik Frye is a pyrokinetic metahuman who tried to rob a bank in Central City in 2018, but had his powers stolen by Matthew Kim. In the aftermath of the Crisis, he was still a metahuman on Earth-Prime.

Pre-Crisis

Erik Frye was one of the many Central City citizens that became metahumans the night the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator exploded, gaining pyrokinetic abilities. After the rise of the Flash, he left Central City.

In March 2018, Frye returned to Central City and tried to rob a bank but was confronted by fellow metahuman Matthew Kim who stripped him of his powers, gifting them to another citizen, Jaco Birch. Later, Frye was captured by security and arrested by CCPD.[1]

One year and a half later, Frye was erased from existence after Earth-1 was annihilated by the Anti-Monitor's antimatter wave.[2]

Post-Crisis

After the Spectre and the Paragons rebooted the Multiverse, Erik Frye was restored to the existence on the newly born Earth-Prime.[3]

In the new timeline of Earth-Prime, Frye never lost his metahuman abilities. At some point in June 2020, the metahuman was arrested afterthe fire of a building in Central City; he was represented in court by metahuman lawyer, Cecile Horton. As butane was found on the crime scene, he was cleared of its charges.[4]
