Ernest Franklin is the Beard Hunter, a vigilante who hunts and shaves "criminals" with facial hair because he can't grow a beard of his own.

History

The Beard Hunter was hired by the Bearded Gentleman's Club of Metropolis to assassinate Niles Caulder. The Chief was ambushed at a convenience store, however the Beard Hunter was killed when he became electrocuted from a trap set by his target.

Beard Hunter was met by angelic messengers after his death however his thoughts raced with the desire to kill God, as He too had a beard.
