The trickster god Eshu is the Orisha of chance and luck.
History
Eshu was one of the first Orishas created according to Yoruban mythos and born alongside his counterpart brother Orunmilla, god of order and fate, as the embodiment of the living land of Ifè's desire for impulsiveness and chance.[1]
Eshu first appeared to help Firestorm when he was attacked by his dark counterpart in Ifè.[1] Eshu decided to join with his shadow self on a whim and later appeared to aid his fellow Gods in defeating their dark counterparts that had attacked Ifè.[2]
