Sigma was a hero from another dimension that was pulled into the Wildstorm Universe.

History

In the Wildstorm Universe, Ethan was reborn as a small child. Dr Tsung and his family adopt and raise Ethan. Dr Tsung learned that Ethan had special abilities, and used this in his work with IO and Miles Craven. Ethan draws his powers from many parallel dimensions through a nexus in his genetic structure. This allows him to mimic any Gen-Active power that could possibly exist.
