Ethan Miller was the sheriff of Smallville, Kansas.

History

Ethan Miller was born in Smallville, Kansas and attended Smallville High School together with Jonathan Kent. By 1989, Ethan had joined the sheriff's department as a deputy. After the 1989 meteor shower, he visited Jonathan and Martha Kent and learned that they had adopted a boy named Clark.

Ethan continued working for the Sheriff's department, eventually becoming sheriff. However, things took a dark turn for Ethan in early 2003. Ethan found himself working for Lionel Luthor but turned on him. Wanting to get rid of Lionel, Ethan shot him and framed Jonathan for the attempted murder. However, Ethan was exposed by Jonathan's son and taken into custody.
