Evan Douglas was a corrupt cop who secretly worked for a mysterious person named Wyrm.

History

He murdered the real Grotesque, Phillipe Rianne, and used his alias to commit murders across Gotham City. Batgirl eventually figured out that he was not Rianne, but he briefly paralyzed her and escaped. He was later unmasked by Batgirl, but was forced to help her fight Wyrm since he planned on killing numerous cops. As a result, Wyrm activated a kill switch in his implant and he died from apparent poisoning.

• Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): Grotesque was able to fight equally with Batgirl for a short period of time before having to flee.
• Driving: Grotesque has shown to be capable of driving a motorcycle at high speeds.
