Synopsis for "The Brave and the Crazy"

Amazing Man has his absorption powers tested by Blue Beetle, who attempts to understand how they work with minimal success. Maxima confronts Captain Atom, professing her attraction to him but he rebuffs her and she flies away in a rage.

The other heroes are called to Booster Gold who sees a news report about Firestorm going nuclear in Pittsburgh. The remaining Leaguers discover a Bug sitting derelict in their new headquarters and use it to investigate. They arrive to find Oberon giving a statement to the police and he directs them to where Raymond and Skeets had flown away. Amazing Man catches him and absorbs much of his rampant nuclear energy, bringing him to a state of coherence as Martin Stein in the form of Firestorm arrives to talk to Ronnie.
