Quote1 I can't change an entry in the Book of Fate! And I can't watch him day and night for thirty-one more years! Quote2

The metaphorical personification of Death has many names, including "Taker of Lives," "Destiny" and Fate.

Instances of Fate's personal manifestations in the material world are few, and ill-reported. It is known that the famous magician El Carim encountered Fate twice, in 1942. In their first meeting, they gambled against each other,[1] and in their second, Fate asked for El Carim's help.[2]
