Fay Evans was the foster mother of Donna Troy.
History
Fay adopted Donna during her marriage to Carl Stacey. After he was killed in a work-related accident, she had financial difficulties, and she was forced to give the child back. She remarried Hank Evans, and had two children, Jerry and Cindy. She kept silent about Donna, afraid of what Hank might say. When Donna resurfaced on her front lawn, some 17 years later, she was shocked, and relieved. Her family accepted Donna as one of her own.
