Synopsis for Doll Man: "Air Raids on New York"
Luftwaffe bombers have been striking New York City, and with unexpected accuracy. Undercover agents, posing as commercial painters, are painting directional arrows on rooftops, with luminous paint. Darrel Dane follows two of them, to the roof of an airplane factory, but gets spotted, and attacked, but after a brief fistfight they flee, unpursued. He visits the Robertses and is surprised to see that they have a new Japanese butler. Martha is surprised to see that Darrel's business suit glows in the dark. Darrel figures out the luminous paint gag, and hurries away to the Airplane Factory, which he figures to be the next air-raid target.
A trio of twin-engine bombers swoops in on the factory, as Doll Man, riding on a pigeon, intercepts them, and drops himself into the uppermost bomber, punches out the bombardier, then releases some bombs onto the other two bombers, shattering both to bits. He then has a brief fight with the pilot, before ground-based antiaircraft fire disables the plane, which crashes, as Doll Man parachutes to safety using a neckerchief. After alerting the factory management and the police to what's going on, Darrel Dane telephones the Roberts' house, but their new "butler" intercepts the call.
The Robertses have been tied to chairs by the Nazi painters, who together with their Japanese colleague are trying to get an explosives formula from Dr. Roberts by threatening Martha. This works, but it's too late, Doll Man has arrived. He quickly trounces all three bad guys and unties Martha, who unties the doctor. Doll Man leaves the room, Darrel Dane calls the police, and after they arrive he comes back in, and pretends to be just now finding out what's going on.
