History
Ferdinand is the original Minotaur who guarded the Oracle Fountain within the labyrinth of the Temple of Pasiphae, his mother, an oracular goddess.
He fought Wonder Woman, Etta Candy and Steve Trevor as guardian of the maze, until Diana destroyed the fountain so that he had nothing to protect and break free from the hypnosis that had kept him locked in his mission for millennia. At this point Steve joked calling him Ferdinand, but the Minotaur liked the name and devoted his life to serving Wonder Woman.
