Synopsis for "Hazard's Choice"

Lois Lane is cleaning her apartment, when she suddenly drops on the floor with her mouth foaming, in the hand, she has a Joker figure she received a couple of weeks ago,[1]she's rushed to the hospital, where it's revealed she's been poisoned by a toxic agent that will shut down her vital functions in a couple of hours. Superman flies to the Batcave to ask for Batman's help, they arrive at the Arkham Asylum to interrogate the Joker, where he reveals that in order to save Lois Lane, they have to inject the toxin in Joker's blood stream, which in contact with his chemically altered blood, will create an antidote, but in doing so the Joker would die. The choice's is in Superman's hands, after discussing with Batman, Superman decides not to kill the Joker, believing this is not what Lois would want. They head back to the hospital, where Lois is apparently dead, but she abruptly wakes up, her vital signs appear normal, Batman's theorizes that Joker simply wanted to do a suicidal prank on Superman, by making him take a life in order to save Lois's when she would have recovered anyways.
