Synopsis for Penniless Palmer: "A Futile Fortune"

Pen has just enough money to buy himself and his associates a simple lunch, but when their lunch arrives the wealthy man from the table over steals their lunch. Their thief claims that despite his wealth he can't buy anything, as every store and restaurant he goes to claims to be sold out of anything he tries to order. Pen takes the case. The young detective finds a listening device set in the sole of Mr. Pressed's shoe and loudly claims to have discovered the culprit and be about to turn them in, resulting in a car of paid thugs speeding to their location to attack. It turns out their new client swindled a millionaire out of some money, and said millionaire is pressuring all the local shops out of accepting Pressed's business.
