Synopsis for "The Fall, Part 1"
Abstergo scientists began to examine the memories of Daniel Cross' ancestor Nikolai Orelov, through the animus. Nikolai woke up next to Anna after having a nightmare of his friend Aleksandr Ulyanov being executed by hanging. Back inn the present, Daniel visited a doctor about his visions and was prescribed medications, much to the former's dismay. Later, Daniel went to a club, where he vomited and experienced the visions again about his ancestor. On October 27, 1888, on orders of the Mentor of the Brotherhood, Nikolai boarded Tsar Alexander III's train in search for him. He entered the dining room, aiming his rifle, but only saw the Tsar's family. The Tsar was behind Nikolai and attacked him, only for Nikolai to strike back with a stab that wounded his target, but did not kill him. The train crashed, but Nikolai and the Romanovs all survived. The Tsar, knowing that the Assassin came for his Staff of Eden, took it from a case and gave it to him, before disarming and subduing him in a brief fight. He was prepared to kill Nikolai, but was interrupted when he was told that his family was waiting. Meanwhile, Daniel was still hallucinating and pulled a knife on a man, but was stopped by an Assassin named Hannah Mueller, who took him into a car that drove off with him. Then, Hannah told Daniel that she was an Assassin.
