Atom was a superhero with shrinking powers and a member of the Justice League of America.

History

After everyone lost their superpowers during an Act of God he volunteered to become a test subject for scientists figuring out a way to restore the abilities. The procedure shrank him down and made him unable to control his size changes. Realizing that his life could be in danger, he determined that the research organization was a front for LexCorp... he left clues in case anyone found him. Ray was killed when uncontrollable accelerated growth from a microscopic size created an explosion and blew him up.
