Quote1 Couldn't let Max or anyone else take this on. Not with what's going down. The demon is my problem. No-one else's. Terry has no idea what he's walking into. How dangerous it is. That the demon is deadlier than he assumes. Not at all the man Terry thinks. He's far better trained. A master of numerous fighting styles. Incredibly fast, smart, supremely capable. Not older than me, like Terry expects. Younger. The true Ra's is gone. Replaced by my son, Damian. Quote2

Synopsis for "Rise of the Demon, Part 3"

After defeating the League of Assassins and saving Barbara and Curaré's lives, Terry refuses to come back to the Batcave as ordered from Bruce, afraid of what the prototype suit Terry is wearing might do to him. But Batman doesn't hear Bruce's orders: he has to act now, as Ra's al Ghul is back once again, ready to launch a worldwide attack to change the planet. As the arguing continues, the Right Hand of the Demon, Koru, comes to Neo-Gotham with the task of killing Curaré. Koru confronts Terry first, telling him he's an impostor and no heir to Batman's throne, then starts fighting against Curaré, as the assassin gives Terry a chance to get away and pursue the main enemy, Ra's himself.

As Curaré is apparently killed by Koru, who then leaves, Terry tries to come back but the A.I. inside his suit stops him from doing it: Bruce explains to Matt and Maxine in the Batcave that the suit Terry is wearing was a special combat suit Bruce developed in his last days as Batman to defeat the Banes. This suit was programmed with an A.I. that had the only task to make sure Batman always succeeded: it makes the user ignore the pain and the common sense, always pushing forward to complete the mission. Maxine then tells Bruce that maybe he should have destroyed it, but Wayne answers with the fact that he always thought he could make the suit work better, especially because someone was able to use it in a better way in the past. Still, now the main concern is that for sure, in a fight between Terry and Ra's, one of the two will not survive. After tricking Matt and Max, Bruce escapes alone with the Batmobile to help Terry.

Meanwhile, Batman is in the Himalaya, confronting the League with all communication extinguished by the A.I. of the suit, as they might try to convince Terry to abandon the mission. The thing Bruce is afraid of is that Terry expects Ra's to be an old man and an old foe, the Ra's al Ghul Bruce Wayne faced, but he will be shocked by the truth, that soon is clear in front of Terry's eyes: the identity of the Demon is the one of Damian Wayne, son of Batman.
