Quote1 Gotham Girl. I'm sorry this happened to you. Psycho-Pirate infected you with fear. That monster at Blackgate transformed you into this creature. Red Robin. You. And your brother. You only wanted to help people. Help the city. I let it take Red Robin. Take your brother. I promise--It will not take you, too. Quote2

Synopsis for "Night of the Monster Men, Part 4"

Duke wants to suit up and help Batman on the streets; Batman needs him to be his eyes and ears. Spoiler and Orphan are still out of contact. Duke can tell that there's something wrong with Nightwing and Gotham Girl since Nightwing's heartrate spiked and they are also not responding. Duke and Alfred figured out that the steroid that caused the Monster Men have some similarities to venom and that they cause massive bioelectric surges – just like the reading he's getting off Nightwing.

A monster tosses Batman up in the air; Batwoman saves him and blows up her bike in the Monster's mouth. Batman grumbles that he had a plan. Nightwing and Gotham Girl, transformed by Strange's monster, arrive in the city. Batman wants to take care of Nightwing and Gotham Girl, but Batwoman won't let him because he's too close to them. Batwoman quips that she's been training the rest of the family and now it's time for their lesson.

Duke says that he might have a way to help Nightwing and Gotham Girl; Batman isn't happy about it. Meanwhile, Batman confronts Gotham Girl. He apologizes to her for everything he's gone through. He says that he let the fight take Red Robin and her brother, but he wouldn't let it take her too. In order to do that, he has to stop the monster that she's become. Clayface forms a protective suit around Batman and they fight as one. Duke arrives on the scene claiming to have a cure.

Back in the cave, Spoiler's and Orphan's plan to burn away the algae works and the people return to normal as the slithers away… towards the giant monster outside their cave!

On the streets, Duke administers the cure to Gotham Girl and she expels the monster blood from her system. Meanwhile, Batwoman is fighting the monster-Nightwing. She becomes wounded and is in free-fall.
