Synopsis for "Batman vs Robin Part Three: Mexican Train"

Robin begs Batman to run while Deathstroke controls his body, forcing him to attack his partner. Deathstroke asks to control Robin's vocal cords as well because he wants Batman to know it was him, which Talia grants, but Robin fights the control long enough to give Batman the upper hand. The doctors warn Deathstroke that he could overload the neural link. Batman tells Alfred to find and block the signal controlling Robin, and he shocks Robin, overwhelming Deathstroke's enhanced senses.

The 99 Fiends escape with the casket from Joshua Wayne's portrait. Robin apologizes to Batman and warns him there is something funny about Sexton. Sexton invites them to his hotel room to talk; however, they return to the Batcave for medical treatment where Dick recounts how he found the casket and lost it. Alfred shows them on the Batcomputer how the design of the house and grounds form the Batsignal. Dick believes the casket is the key and they must regain it, but first, they pay a visit to Talia. Batman destroys the neural link and confronts Talia over her decision to place her son under mind control, which she defends by accusing Batman of indoctrinating Damian.

Damian asks to speak with his mother alone, and while he does, Batman attacks Deathstroke in his hospital room. He calls him out for the attack on Bludhaven, but says he isn't Batman's biggest problem currently. Talia shows Damian his fetal clone and gives him one last chance to side with her; when Damian asks why she can't love him for who he is rather than what she wants him to be, she says she is too much of a perfectionist. She allows Damian and Dick to leave, but says from now on Damian is an enemy to the House of Al Ghul. Damian hopes he can be a worthy one.

Simon Hurt returns to Gotham, promising Senator Vine (the last living member of the Black Glove) his protection as the returning King of Gotham. Batman, Robin, and Alfred retrace Batman's steps through the corpse road. Batman declares that everything so far has been connected, and if his suspicions about Sexton are correct, they will need to be at their best. Batman visits Sexton in his hotel, which has been surrounded by police for his supposed protection. Batman confronts Sexton about the Domino Killer's modus operandi, calling the murders "jokes" and revealing that Sexton was the Joker all along.
