Notes
- General X:
- Prior to this issue's story, General X has already overrun three democratic nations, and Bulvania would have been the fourth.
- The Blackhawks speculate whether the mysterious General X might be "Red General Brazoff", or "Tiger Shark", or "Baron Blood, the Mad Scientist".
- Blackhawk gets head-konked unconscious with a rifle stock; that's his fifty-fifth concussion.[1] Being a Blackhawk is dangerous.
- The Return of Genghis Khan:
- He's nine feet tall, so this probably is a different character from other Genghis Khans. His Mongol Warriors are also nine feet tall. According to Genghis, the alchemical potion that preserved them in suspended animation, for seven centuries, had the side effect of making them grow.
- Alternatively, they were brainwashed, artificially-mutated Russian science-project products. At this story's end, the Blackhawks are left to wonder whether "Genghis" and his giants were just another high-tech Red hoax, but the evidence was ambiguous and they weren't sure either way.
