Bubastis was a mutant lynx created by Ozymandias to act as his pet. She was loyal to him and acted as a caring, albeit distractable, friend, and stood alongside him during his plot to save the world. She was killed by her master in an unsuccessful attempt to destroy Doctor Manhattan. Bubastis was created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, and first appeared in Watchmen #4 (1986).
