History
Youth
Lopez grew up in a rough neighborhood in Detroit but was taken close care of by her five brothers. She is a devout Christian with strong personal views and questions on the faith. When she was a child, she was involved in a car crash that would've nearly killed her, if not for the intervention of Azrael, who saw Ella's kindness and decided to spare her. To Ella, Azrael was a ghost, who she named "Ray-Ray", and Ella was followed nearly everywhere by the "ghost" until she moved to Los Angeles.[1]
