The Gambler is a Golden Age super-villain and antagonist to the Justice Society. An expert gambler, he commits crimes motivated by profit using small weapons and a mastery of the odds. His successors include a grandson Steve Sharpe V and a granddaughter named Hazard. He has been involved with the Injustice Society and the Royal Flush Gang. The Gambler was created by Henry Kuttner and Martin Nodell, first appearing in Green Lantern #12. (1944)
