Synopsis for "Meat and Poison"
Alex apologizes to Grunge and Roxy for snapping at them during the team training session. Then, he explains to Roxy how he met her mother one summer before deploying with Team 7 and that he had no way of knowing Roxy was his daughter. But, still angry, Roxy blows him off. Alex next tries to talk to Caitlin, but his mercenary ex-colleagues fire a missile at them from offshore. At IO, Baiul's armored, hulking business partner kills a Keeper and one of the Gen-Active captives. Back in Florida, Gen 13 rushes to the beach to find that Caitlin shielded Alex from the blast. The mercs attack again, and the team responds by blowing up their boat. As they stumble ashore, Alex uses his powers to make the mercs see Gen 13 as their boss Cordelia and her Coda assassins, enabling the team to subdue them.
