Synopsis for "Retribution, Part 2"

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), accompanied by John Stewart, returns to his home too late, because Fatality already has captured his power battery. Green Lantern attacks the woman, and a fierce fight begins. After breaking through the ground into a metro tunnel, Fatality gets a grip on Kyle and holds the blade of her axe at his throat. Kyle asks her about the reason behind her wanting to kill all Green Lanterns. She explains that she is from a planet called Xanshi which exploded because of a decision of a Green Lantern Corps member. Fatality was not on the planet when the destruction occurred and so is the only one left of her people. Fatality does not know which Green Lantern was responsible, so she set out to kill all of them. As Fatality wants to make the fatal stroke, John Stewart interferes (both of them are unaware of each other's stories: Fatality doesn't know he is responsible for Xanshi's destruction, and John doesn't know she's the last survivor). He is willing to fight with his bare hands, but suddenly he releases a green energy beam which directly hits Fatality. But as Kyle comes near her, she puts a blade into his right shoulder, takes the battery and flees from the scene. John is still puzzled about what just happened, but he guesses Hal Jordan did not just heal his body during The Final Night.

Together they follow Fatality to the harbor where she reaches her spaceship and leaves the orbit. Although his ring may not have enough power left, Kyle follows her directly into a wormhole. After exiting the wormhole again, Green Lantern gets attacked by Fatality's spaceship. After a hard hit, Kyle crashes on an unknown planet where he immediately is confronted by a monster with huge tentacles. The fight takes the remaining power out of his ring and the monster pulls Kyle into the depth ...
