Harold Halston was a private investigator from Thermopolis, Wyoming.

History

A local realtor had asked him to run a check on one "Varney Sack". He learned that Sack and "Burt Villers" of the Villers Gallery were one and the same, and in fact that both were aliases of Vandal Savage.

Savage learned of this, tracked down Halston, and killed him. The murder, however, was witnessed by Wally West.
