Synopsis for "Ghost Sector, Part 2"
Darkseid was killed battling the Justice League, and then reborn. Now he faces Azrael, Cyborg, Jessica Cruz and Starfire, who attack without question or quarter. Darkseid easily repulses them and mocks them as they are experiencing his mercy. They could die at his whim. He only has anger for Jessica Cruz who is not part of the prophesy that he offers answers to. And He will force them to listen.
Darkseid lifts Cyborg high and crashes down into the Temple of Koriand'r, where it seems they have worshipped Starfire for some time. All her worshippers lie dead, and Darkseid vanishes, leaving the quartet to investigate. They find a single Priest remains and Starfire touches him, absorbing his language. The Goddess Koriand'r had promised a new world to all who honoured her, before Brainiac took them and put them in stasis where they languished. Freed into the Ghost sector, the worshippers were besieged by angels who killed all but one, and did not find their holy relic - the Multiversal Key. The Priest of Koriand'r gives the Key to Kory, and she blesses him before he dies.
Starfire begins reading the prophesy on her temple but is interupted as the planet suddenly loses stability. Starfire had absorbed something dark from the Priest with his language, and her powers are overloading. Jessica Cruz raises her shields...
