Khyrana was a cursed immortal who eventually ended up in Metropolis, where she faced Superman and Wonder Woman.
History
Khyrana was one of the most beautiful women in ancient Greece. She never married, which gave Zeus the idea he could have her. She denied him, claiming she needed no man. In anger, Zeus cursed her with an need for attention and the touch of others - men most of all, for all eternity. She would drain these men of their life in order to retain her own.
Forced to walk the earth, she amassed a fortune and moved in rarified circles under different, related aliases, posing as her own daughter every generation. She stole from several wealthy industrialists and heirs, and spent most of the money on women's causes. Despite all the good she did, the men in her life still treated her as a toy. It led her to hate men.
She was eventually stopped by Superman and Wonder Woman. It turned out that her absorption powers short circuited when she absorbed both Superman's solar energy and Wonder Woman's magic, giving the heroes the upper hand. She was placed in isolation.
