Synopsis for "The Hunters"

Lois Lane encounters a rhinoceros while walking down the streets of Metropolis. She then observes a Jungleman swinging down from a lamppost. The rhino slams into the entrance of a bank as two hunters rush in to rob it. Lois rushes to a nearby phone booth to call for help but the booth is immediately attacked by a jungle tiger. The jungleman then fills the phone booth with water and almost drowns until she is rescued by Superman.

Superman and Lois speculate that this is all the work of the Hunters, one of the 10 deadly divisions of the 100. Superman further speculates that this could also be the work of KARL, a highly advanced mobile computer.

The Hunters continue to rob stores in the city using animals from a nearby zoo. They have access to the zoo via an underground tunnel. In the meantime Superman tracks KARL as it flees into the zoo. Once inside, Superman encounters a jungle medicine man who supposedly shoots Superman with a magic dart. Superman is susceptible to magic and the dart causes him to act like a dog. Lois Lane is also captured by the hunters as she sneaks into the zoo to investigate. She is made to inhale fumes from a root which cause her to believe she is a Jungle Huntress. She is instructed to kill Superman with a poisonous spear but Lois refuses. She wants to hold Superman for ransom.

Lois is then attacked by the Jungleman Kabu to verify that she is under the spell of the magical root. The root should give her super strength. At the same time, it is revealed that Superman prevented the dart from penetrating his skin and he has been faking his behavior this whole time. Superman apprehends the hunters just as Lois is defeating Kabu with her own natural fighting skills and abilities. Superman and Lois then discover that the robot KARL was just a dummy used to lure Superman into a trap. The real leader of the 100 is still at large.
