Lya, the Daughter of Deception, was an enemy of Wonder Woman.
History
When the Duke of Deception usurped the throne of Mars, he appointed his daughter as his lieutenant. But much as he had overthrown his boss, Lya usurped her father in turn. She lead an army of female slaves, but ultimately, failed to take over the throne. As punishment for her deplicity, she was marooned in a spaceship. She lured Wonder Woman to save them. Hoping to launch a war against her father, she forced the Amazon to create a stronghold, and then imprisoned her. Lya then used her powers to impersonate Wonder Woman and convinced the American military leadership of an impending Martian invasion. Before new forces could join the fight, the real Wonder Woman broke out and defused the situation. Lya and her slave girls were taken to Transformation Island.

- This version of Lya, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023.
