History
Early life
Visiting Danny the Street
Years ago, agent Morris Wilson worked for the Bureau of Normalcy when he and his team were sent on a search-and-destroy mission against Danny the Street, a sentient street. However, there he felt comfortable being himself as he never felt, moving over to Danny, who welcomed him as they do with all those who embrace their true self. Over the years, Morris became known as Maura Lee Karupt in drag as she tried to encourage the Dannyzens to have a good time, since the bureau was marrying them off for being "strange".[2]
Saving Danny
In 2019, Maura was still celebrating with her drag queens at Peeping Tom's Perpetual Cabaret, before announcing the arrival of tech vigilante, Vic Stone, and quiet bandage man, Larry Trainor, who were friends with Doctor Niles Caulder, an old friend of Danny's, thinking that they could help them, trying to explain to Vic that Danny was the whole street. Revealing everything about the bureau, Morris met with Vic and Larry, forming a friendship with them after explaining that the bureau was looking for him, deciding to sacrifice himself for Danny, since he shouldn't keep running away, becoming Morris again, but Larry, who accepting his queer side, convinced Maura to fight for Danny.
Battle for Danny
Encouraged by Larry, Maura rallied all the Dannyzens to face off against the maniacal agent Darren Jones and an army of bureau agents, both of whom were made to disappear by Danny, allowing the Dannyzens to attack Darren, with Maura hitting him several times, earning his respect for being homosexual, defeating Darren. After the bureau's defeat, Maura and the Dannyzens had a party, recovering the happiness they had for years. When the supervillain team, the Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals, imprisoned Danny in a magical painting, Maura and the Dannyzens had to run for safety.[2][3]
Months later, Maura, the Dannyzens and the superhero, Flex Mentallo, went to the Doom Manor, reuniting with Larry and his roommates, since Danny, who was now a brick, was split in two, so they decided to do a party to revive his friend. During the party, Maura saw Dorothy Spinner, Niles's daughter and a friend of Danny's, sing for him, reviving Danny, cheering up the Dannyzens, who started their party to celebrate his return, where Maura ran into Vic, who she returned to the mansion, telling her friend about her situation with her girlfriend, Roni Evers, who had sent her images of what she suffered, considering herself a danger. Maura gave Vic some great advice to confront Roni and find out the whole truth, advice that Vic accepted.
Mission against sexual ghosts
The party was interrupted when agents Cuddles and Torture, two members of the Sex Men, an agency in charge of cases involving sexual ghosts, arrived reporting that there was a terrible demon in the manor, Shadowy Mister Evans, a being that would cause the death of several children if she gave birth to her baby, so Maura, Niles, Larry and Cliff Steele, a drunken Robotman, went with the Sex Men to help, preventing the baby from rising thanks to Hammerhead, one of Jane's personalities. After helping save the world, Maura, Flex and the Dannyzens said goodbye to their friends to start a new journey around the world with Danny, now as a wheel.[1]
