Synopsis for Plastic Man: "The Eyes Have It!"
Plastic Man comes upon a gangster chasing a kid with soulful eyes, and tries to drown him with a bucket. Not standing for this, the hero forces the hood to drink gasoline. Chief Branner almost gives in to Bright Eyes' eyes to look into the case, but says this lies outside the FBI's jurisdiction...until someone reaches through the window and makes off with the boy, making it kidnapping, and thus a federal case.
Meanwhile it turns out the boy's been targeted by a criminal calling himself the Sphinx. Who is running a criminal enterprise selling war orphans to desperate couples. Plastic Man and Woozy pose as an elderly couple to learn the Sphinx's racket, and manage to stop him from ordering his underlings to throw the orphans in the ocean to get rid of the evidence. However in fleeing the Sphinx falls right into a bear trap and has his throat crushed. The shock of seeing this breaks a muteness that'd been afflicting him. His father had been angered by the boy's soulful eyes, but the neighbors weren't willing to stand by and let child abuse slide, so they tarred and feathered his father and dumped in a swamp to die. That man was the Sphinx. As soon as Bright Eyes is done telling his story, he's surrounded by adoring beach bunnies.

Unfortunately this only brings the prospect of riches to unsavory ears, a pair named Craig and Harley. They kill Brent for the map, and the murder whirls Destiny to the site. The crooks get away, but Destiny meets Cady who makes a copy of the map from memory. While venturing into Death Valley to find the buried treasure, tempers rise and Craig kills Harley. Destiny catches up to them and ends up shooting Craig with his own gun. Ironically, he finds out from Cady that there was a journal confirming the treasure map was a fake.
