Shakedown is a member of the Masters of Disaster, a group of mercenaries who specialize in causing natural disasters. This has made him an enemy to the Outsiders. His powers allow him to create and control earthquakes. Despite his imposing stature, he is uncomfortable with aggression, and he speaks with a stutter. Shakedown was created by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo, first appearing in Batman and the Outsiders #9. (1984)
